Amoo Excited to Make Debut for Omonia

Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Omonia Nicosea of Cyprus, Akinkunmi Amoo said he is delighted to make his debut for his club, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Amoo, who joined Omonia on 13 September 2023, signed a three-year deal but was ruled out of action to injury. 

The 2017 WAFU U-17 Cup winner came on as a second half substitute in the 88th minute for his debut for Omonia in the 3-1 win over AEL Limassol.

He thanked the players, fans and management for the support while expressing joy over his return to action. 

"My first game for Omonia and I'm excited to return from injury. I want to thank the management, coaches, teammates, and backroom for their support since I joined the club and during my recovery period. Home win and we closed the gap."
