World record holder in the Women’s 100m hurdles, Tobi Amusan, will start her 2025 season at the Queen’s/Grace Jackson Meet in Kingston, Jamaica, on Saturday.

Amusan will compete in the 60m event at the meet, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

She will face off against Jamaican athlete Grace Jackson, marking the first time the two will race in the same event.

This will be Amusan’s first official race since the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the same goes for Jackson, who withdrew from the Games last year.

However, it's important to note that the meet is not World Athletics certified, meaning it will not count towards qualification for the 2025 World Championships, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan, from September 13 to 21.
