Andersson Opens Up Why He Ignored Super Eagles Job

Swedish coach Janne Andersson has finally opened up on why he turned down the Super Eagles job, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Anderson was one of the front-runners to get the job after the departure of Jose Peseiro. While speaking to Bold News, the coach confirmed that he received offers from Nigeria and Latvia.

" I received two specific proposals from Latvia and Nigeria, which I chose to decline".

" Nigeria wanted me to be the national coach. There was a lot that attracted me, but the overall package wasn't that great".

"It didn't feel 100 percent right, and it needs to be fully invested", he said.
