Angry Everton Fan Throws Iwobi's Jersey Back At Him

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi got a dose of Everton fans' bad feelings after the Toffees lost 3-0 to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Footage after the game at the Vitality Stadium showed Everton fans showing their anger at the team after the players went over to them (away fans) to apologise, Iwobi gave a fan his shirt in sympathy and in return he threw it back on the pitch.

The result sees Everton drop to the 17th position in the Premier League table.

Recall the Cherries had beaten Frank Lampard's side 4-1 in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening and followed that up with a comfortable league success over the Merseyside outfit, with Marcus Tavernier, Kieffer Moore and Jaidon Anthony on the scoresheet at the Vitality Stadium.

The result moved Bournemouth into 13th position, now boasting 16 points from their opening 15 matches, while Everton now sit just one point outside of the relegation zone.
