April's Premier League Manager/Player of the Month Nominees

Four coaches have been nominated for the Barclays Manager of the Month award for April, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Among the nominees include Thomas Frank, Pep Guardiola, Mike Jackson, and Jurgen Klopp who went unbeaten during the month of April. 

Here is how they fared; 

Thomas Frank - Brentford:

Frank's men accumulated six points from five EPL matches as they picked three wins, a single draw in the process. 

Brentford managed to beat west London rivals Chelsea 4-1, their first victory over the Blues since 1939. The Bees picked wins over West Ham United and Watford before settling for a draw with Tottenham. 

Pep Guardiola - Man City:

Guardiola saw City remain at the top of the table with four wins, and a single draw while failing to lose any single match. 

Mike Jackson - Burnley:

Jackson took over temporarily following the sacking of Sean Dyche. He led Burnley to three wins and a single draw. 

Jurgen Klopp - Liverpool:

Klopp kept his Liverpool side hot on the heels of leaders Man City, winning four matches without conceding, with two of those victories coming against fierce rivals Manchester United and Everton. The Reds also twice came from behind to get a draw at the Etihad Stadium.
