Arokodare Admits Weaknesses, Areas For Improvement
Sampson Adedeji
Newly invited Super Eagles striker Tolulope Arokodare has acknowledged the areas he needs to improve in his game and personal approach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 24-year-old forward, who currently leads the scoring charts in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with RKC Genk, earned a national team call-up thanks to his impressive performances.
In an interview with Belgian news outlet Het Belang Van Limburg, Arokodare admitted that professionalism remains one of his biggest challenges.
"I am certainly not where I want or need to be. If I'm honest with myself, my professionalism is one of the key areas I must improve."
He also reflected on his personality, acknowledging a need to be more reserved.
"I always assume everyone is my friend, but that’s not the case. I talk a lot and try to explain things, but sometimes I just need to keep quiet."
"I believe my weaknesses wouldn’t be as noticeable if I spoke less. I’m working hard on it, but it’s incredibly difficult. I've been open my whole life, and changing that at 24 is not easy," he admitted.
