Arokodare Rejects Trabzonspor Move, Eyes Top-Five European Leagues

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has reportedly turned down a move to Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor despite Wolverhampton Wanderers accepting the club's offer, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to reports, Arokodare is determined to continue his career in one of Europe's top-five leagues and is not willing to make the switch to Turkey at this stage of his career.

The 25-year-old has now been offered to Serie A side Genoa as he continues to explore opportunities in one of Europe's elite leagues.

However, Fiorentina's interest has reportedly cooled after the Italian club ran into issues with its non-EU player quota.

Despite Arokodare's stance, interest from Turkey remains strong, with Trabzonspor, reigning Super Lig champions Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş all monitoring the Nigerian forward's situation.

Arokodare is expected to assess his options carefully in the coming weeks as he seeks a move that aligns with his ambition of playing in one of Europe's biggest leagues.
