Arokodare Scores Again As Ajax Thrash Telstar

Nigeria international Tolu Arokodare continued his impressive goalscoring form after netting in Ajax’s 4-0 victory over Telstar in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Arokodare scored Ajax’s third goal in the 60th minute to register his first league goal since joining the Dutch giants.

The strike also extended his scoring run to three consecutive matches, highlighting the striker’s impressive start to life at Ajax.

Ajax took the lead in the 37th minute before Steven Berghuis doubled their advantage nine minutes after the restart.

Arokodare added the third goal on the hour mark, while Marcos Leonardo completed the rout in the 78th minute.

The 25-year-old’s latest strike takes his tally to four goals in all competitions since joining Ajax on loan from English Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

Arokodare has now scored once in the Eredivisie and three times in the UEFA Conference League.
