Arokodare Undergoes Ajax Medical

Super Eagles forward, Toluwalase Arokodare has undergone his medical, as he looks set to complete his loan move to Dutch giants, Ajax, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Club sources confirm the Nigerian was their top choice ahead of the new season.

Italian Serie A duo of Genoa and Fiorentina, Hamburg and Trabzonspor were all interested in Arokodare. Fiorentina didn’t work because they could not agree a loan fee and agreement on Wages payment with Wolves.

On Tuesday, Ajax were trying to sort out the paperwork in order to complete the transfer before the end of the day or by Wednesday.

Arokodare will be on loaned with an option to buy worth €18M. That option could rise to €20M through bonuses, based on Ajax qualification for European competitions.
