Premier League top guns Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, with Napoli not keen on selling the striker on the cheap, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced. 

According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal have entered the chase for Victor Osimhen. The report states that the forward continues to evaluate his options ahead of this summer. PSG and Chelsea are also keen, with the latter holding concrete talks for the Napoli man. The Gunners’ presence makes the chase all the more interesting.

Arsenal finished the previous season marginally behind Manchester City’s goalscoring tally, which showcased their ability to distribute the goals throughout the team. That is not bad for a team that desperately needed a striker, as per multiple media outlets, who claimed they would not mount a title challenge without a prolific striker.

Similar doubts persist about their willingness to pay over €100 million for Osimhen, with the report stating Arsenal has entered the race for the Nigerian hitman. Osimhen is a hot property striker in this market, with Napoli still demanding his €130 million release clause.
