Asaba 2022: Esther Nworgu Set New World Record In Para Powerlifting

The ongoing National Sports Festival has started living up to the expectations as athletes continue to show amazing performance, BSNSports.com.ng understand.

It was jubilation galore on Saturday in the women Para Powerlifting as Esther Nworgu created a new world record.

Nworgu made a lift of 115 in the 41kg to break her own record of 114kg set at the 2022 African Para Powerlifting in Cairo, Egypt in October.

The Nigerian surpassed the world record of 111kg which was set by Guo Lingling of China in June.
