At Last, Golden Eaglets Record First Defeat

The WAFU B defending champions, Golden Eaglets has suffered the first defeat on Friday morning losing 0-2 to Morac Academy in their tenth friendly match, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Head Coach, Manu Garba has been rotating the team to be able to get the first team for submission ahead of 5th May deadline date.

Morac Football Academy from Delta State handed the coach Manu Garba-led team their first loss since they opened training camp in Abuja last month.

The academy fired two goals in the second half to record a 2-0 victory over what apparently was an weakened side caused the MRI disqualification.

The coaching Crew will put head together to get the names of players who passed the MRI test on list as they are to submit the final list on Monday.

Defending champions Nigeria are in Group B along with Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger Republic.
