Atalanta Management To Meet Gasperini, Lookman On Thursday

The board of Italian Serie A club Atalanta has scheduled a meeting with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini and Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman to address their ongoing dispute, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Tensions between Gasperini and Lookman have risen since Tuesday following Lookman’s missed penalty, which contributed to Atalanta’s elimination from the Champions League.

The coach’s remarks about the player have sparked heated debates, prompting Lookman to issue a response.

Club management will attend training at Zingonia on Thursday and will meet with both parties afterwards to resolve the situation.
