Team Nigeria struck another gold medal in the ongoing Athletics Championship in Douala, Cameroon on Sunday via Ese Brume, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Brume was among the medal prospects for Team Nigeria in Douala and she never disappointed as she lived up to the billings.

Brume dug deep into her wealth of experience, landing a final round jump of 6.73m to strike gold.

Koala of Mauritania had to settle for silver and she also found it difficult to handle Brume.

Brume kept on her 8-year win streak on the continental level.
