Athletics:Team Nigeria Place 7th In The Women Rankings

The World Athletics has released the 2022 Women's rankings and Team Nigeria are placed in respectable position, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The ranking solely based on the team performance in the World Championship that was held in Oregon, United States.

Nigeria's Tobi Amusan was the cynosure of all eyes in the women's 100 metres hurdles final as she claimed a gold medal.

Apart from winning the gold medal she also creates a new world record.

According to the ranking released by the Athletics body, Team Nigeria was ranked in 7th position garnering 13 points with Jamaica, United States and Ethiopia claiming 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
