Atletico Madrid Move Will Benefit Lookman – Ighalo

Former Nigerian international Odion Ighalo has expressed confidence that Ademola Lookman will flourish following his switch to Atlético Madrid, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman completed his move from Atalanta to the Madrid-based side during the January transfer window and has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad.

Reacting to the development, Ighalo stated that working under head coach Diego Simeone would significantly enhance the winger’s game.

“Playing under Diego Simeone’s guidance will benefit Lookman because Simeone is a tactical and intelligent coach,” Ighalo said.

“I see this move from Atalanta to Atletico as a good step forward in his career.”
