Augsburg Manager Speaks On Adaptation Of Nigerian Youngster

The manager of German Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, Michael Baum, has spoken about the progress and adaptation of Nigerian youngster Ogundu at the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The highly-rated prospect recently joined the Bundesliga outfit and has been working to settle into life in Germany both on and off the pitch.

Baum expressed satisfaction with the player’s integration, revealing that the youngster has already begun adapting to the culture and language.

“Ogundu has already had several German lessons, greets me with ‘Servus’ and is very well integrated,” the Augsburg manager said.

He further highlighted the Nigerian’s qualities in training, noting his physical attributes and pace as standout strengths.

“In training, you can see his strength and his pace. But we have to wait for the right moment to introduce young players,” Baum added.

The coach’s comments suggest that while Ogundu is making steady progress, the club is keen on managing his development carefully before handing him competitive minutes in the Bundesliga.

Augsburg will hope the youngster continues his positive adaptation as they navigate the remainder of the German top-flight campaign.
