Aweroro Highlights Ikorodu City's Objective In NPFL

The coach of the newly promoted side Ikorodu City, Nurudeen Aweroro, has highlighted the club's objective in the Nigeria Premier Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since the start of the 2024/2025 season, the Oga Boys has been the surprise package with a decent outing and impressive results.

The team walloped Akwa United 4-1 on day 15 of the league, and the coach insists that the objective of the team was to retain its elite status.

“I felt so happy for the win because it moved us up on the log,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“We are not mounting any title challenge as we just want to win games and remain in the league.”
