Awoniyi, Dennis, Others: Forest Sack Two

Nottingham Forest have sacked two staff members heavily involved in their summer recruitment, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The newly promoted Premier League club find themselves in the relegation zone at present.

That is after spending £150 million on 22 players over the course of the summer transfer window. Head of recruitment George Syrianos and head scout Andy Scott have both left.

Per the Daily Mail, the two exits come after Filippo Giraldi's arrival as Sporting Director last week.

The likes of Super Eagles duo of Taiwo Awoniyi, Emmanuel Dennis, and Morgan Gibbs-White, Remo Freuler were big money signings for Forest this summer.

They also secured Jesse Lingard on a free transfer, along with Dean Henderson on loan from Manchester United.
