Awoniyi Emphasizes His Desire To Remain At Nottingham Forest

Despite ongoing transfer rumours, Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has firmly expressed his intention to remain at Nottingham Forest, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Several clubs, including West Ham United, have shown interest in acquiring the Nigerian international's services.

Speaking to the club's official media, Awoniyi emphasized his commitment to Forest, stating, "Transfers are a part of football, and speculation is inevitable. But my focus is entirely on Nottingham Forest."

He continued, "This is a team with great potential, and I want to stay here to help achieve something special. I’m not thinking about leaving; my focus is on how I can contribute more to the club’s success."

The towering forward has scored just once in 17 appearances this season.
