Awoniyi Hails Nottingham Forest Star

Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi has hailed his teammate Omari Hutchinson after his magical display against Wolves, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Nottingham Forest are without the Nigerian at the moment as he battles back to full fitness.

Under Sean Dyche, he’s been given a bit of a reprieve, and as a result, he will be desperate to get back on the pitch.

Awoniyi was a keen spectator during the game, as Forest beat Wolves courtesy of an Igor Jesus goal, which came 18 minutes from time.

There were a number of players who didn’t play as well as they could against a dogged Wolves side, yet to win a game this season.

However, a few others did stand out, and Awoniyi has praised one of his teammates after his latest performance.

The Nigerian centre-forward has struggled with injuries since arriving at Forest in 2022, and ultimately, it’s a real issue of his.

However, he’s not expected to be out long-term with his current issue, and that does bode well for Forest when it comes to options.

After the game last night, he posted the word ‘Magic’ on Omari Hutchinson’s post on Instagram, with the record signing earning a first Premier League start for the Reds.
