Awoniyi Honoured With Commemorative Jersey After 100th Nottingham Forest Appearance

Nottingham Forest have paid tribute to Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi after the forward reached a significant career milestone, making his 100th appearance for the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 27-year-old was presented with a special commemorative jersey to mark the occasion, recognising his contributions since joining the Premier League side in 2022.

Awoniyi arrived at the City Ground from German Bundesliga club Union Berlin and has quickly established himself as a key player for Forest.

 Known for his clinical finishing and physical presence, the Nigeria international has scored important goals and delivered consistent performances that have endeared him to the club and its fans.

The former Nigeria youth star has maintained a strong bond with Forest supporters, who have embraced him as one of their own since his arrival in England.
