Awoniyi Vows To Stay In The Premier League

Despite attracting interest from clubs across Europe, Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi has reaffirmed his desire to remain in the Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since joining Nottingham Forest, Awoniyi has been a key performer for the club. Even with injury setbacks this season, he has continued to make significant contributions to the team's campaign.

In a recent interview with Humble Foot, the forward made his intentions clear.

“For me, it’s always the Premier League,” Awoniyi stated.

“My family knows it, my agent knows it — everyone knows the Premier League is my focus. I know when the time comes to say ‘thank you, Premier League’, but for now, I still have two more years at Nottingham Forest. Thank God for that."

“Maybe after those two years, if there are no options and no other clubs come calling, then I’ll consider packing my bags. But for now, I’m here and committed for the next two years.”
