Ayanrinde Excited To Be Part Of CHAN Eagles' Achievement

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) forward Samuel Ayanrinde expressed his excitement about being part of the current Super Eagles home-based squad, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Nigerian team defeated the Black Galaxies of Ghana 3-1 in Uyo on Saturday, securing their qualification for the 2025 CHAN tournament, with Ayanrinde contributing to the match.

Affectionately known as "Oja," the striker entered the game as a second-half substitute, replacing Isaac Saviour, who scored the third goal.

"I'm thrilled to be part of this team. It's a significant achievement to qualify for CHAN after previous unsuccessful attempts, and I hold this feat in high regard," Ayanrinde stated.

"It is a great privilege to wear the national team colours, and I owe it to my club, 3SC, our national team coaches, and my fans everywhere."

The tall forward also played as a second-half substitute in Shooting Stars' 1-0 victory over Kwara United, just 24 hours after his appearance for the CHAN Eagles.

The former Kwara United striker aims to secure a place in the squad for the tournament in February, promising an outstanding performance from the team.
