BAL 2024: APR Warns Rivers Hoopers With Win Over US Monastir

The Sahara Conference of the 2024 African Basketball League started on Saturday and it was a good outing for the Rwandan Champions APR, BSNSports. Com. ng reports.

The Rwandan side took the game to the former champion US Monastir and was able to end the first quarter all square 20-20.

The Tunisian side improved their performance in the second quarter and secured a halftime lead 39-40.

They continued their impressive performance in the third quarter and secured a 3-point gap of 52-55 points.

APR under Mazen Trakh entered the final quarter with a strong determination and seized control of the game and they were able to secure a much-needed victory 89-84 after overtime.

APR put up an intimidating performance that scared the duo of Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers and the host AS Douanes of Senegal.
