BAL 2024: How We Edged High-Flying Rivers Hoopers - US Monastir Forward

US Monastir forward Lahyani has revealed how they were able to beat the high-flying Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers in the final round of the game in Dakar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Tunisian side struggled in the first round of the Sahara Conference, losing all 3 games but bounced back strongly in the second round and won the same number of games.

“We needed time to build our team cohesion because we started our BAL preparation late. 

Now, we go back to the drawing board and prepare for the playoffs, which will be even more demanding.”

“We knew we needed to win this game [against Rivers Hoopers], otherwise, we would be eliminated for a second season in a row. Here in Dakar", he said.

Lahyani finished with 7 points and 11 rebounds.
