BAL 2024: Rivers Hoopers Suffer Defeat Against Douanes, Face US Monastir

Rivers Hoopers suffered a narrow defeat to their counterpart AS Douanes of Senegal on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian champions came top of the Sahara Conference and were drawn against AS Douanes for the seeding game.

Playing at the BK Arena on Saturday evening, AS Douanes dominated the game from the start and they were leading 37-23 at halftime 

Senegalese won the third quarter 50-28 and secured a 63-57 win in the final quarter.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian side will face former champions US Monastir in the quarter-final on Monday.
