BAL 2024: Rivers Hoppers, Others Are Better, But We Are Prepared - APR Manager
Sampson Adedeji
As the 2024 Sahara Conference of the African Basketball League kicks off this weekend, the manager of APR of Rwanda Mazen Trakh has admitted that the teams in the region are better, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Rwandan Champions will face the former Champions US Monastir in the opening game on Saturday before facing Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers and the host AS Douanes.
While speaking ahead of the championship, Trahk agreed that Hoopers and others are better than last season.
“I think compared to last year, these teams are better than they were last year.
So, we are going to be very prepared for these teams, but you know, we will see what happens.
We scout all these teams; we scout their players; we scout their plays. So basically, we are prepared like an NBA team,” he noted.
