BAL 2024: What Rivers Hoopers Must Do In Kigali -Anthony Koko

Ahead of the 2024 African Basketball League playoffs, the centre of Nigeria's Rivers Hoopers Victor Anthony Koko has pointed to some areas the team must work on, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian champion will serve off their campaign in the playoffs with a classification game against AS Douanes of Senegal and Koko believes they must work on their defence.

" For me, defence wins championship games.

" Those first 3 games we played with a tough defence but after securing the fourth win, the mind shifted to having already qualified, which affected our performance in the last two games.

We need to improve on our defence.

This is the 3rd game against AS Douanes, I'm not one to make bold predictions but I believe in playing our game.

" I know at the end we are going to come out victorious", he told Brila FM radio.
