BAL 2026 Playoffs Bracket Confirmed Ahead Of Kigali Showdown

The Basketball Africa League has officially confirmed the bracket for the 2026 BAL Playoffs with eight teams set to battle for the continental title in Kigali, Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Following the conclusion of the conference phase, the qualified teams now know their paths to the championship as the competition enters its decisive stage.

According to the playoff format, the quarterfinal fixtures will be played over a best-of-two series format before the tournament switches to a straight knockout system from the semifinals to the final.

The winners of the quarterfinal ties will advance into the semifinals, where it will become a win-or-go-home contest as teams chase a place in the final and an opportunity to be crowned the 2026 BAL champions.

The playoffs are expected to bring together some of the best basketball talents on the continent with fans anticipating thrilling encounters in Kigali.

Organisers also congratulated all eight qualified teams for reaching the playoff stage after intense battles during the conference rounds.
