BAL 24: Rivers Hoopers Seal Playoffs Slot

Nigerian Champions, Rivers Hoopers has sealed the qualification ticket to the Basketball Africa League, BAL, playoffs in Kigali, Rwanda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The KingsMen sealed the qualification ticket after they snatched it in overtime to secure a playoff spot with a 78-71 final score win over APR of Rwanda to record their 4th win in the Sahara Conference, in Dakar, Senegal.
The duo of Peter Olisemeka and Devine Eke were fantastic against APR to emerge as the top performers as the former got 17 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks while the latter got 18 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists.
The great feat by the KingsMen ensured that they became the first Nigerian team to get to the BAL playoffs after winning one game in their inaugural edition in 2021.
They will join FUS Rabat, Petro de Luanda, Cape Town Tigers, Al Ahly, and Al Ahly Ly and two others from the Sahara Conference for the playoffs which will tip-off in Kigali, Rwanda on May 24.
