BREAKING! Nigeria Vs Sierra Leone: Moshood Abiola Stadium Under Locks And Keys

By Niyi Busari

BSN Sports can authoritatively report that all entrance into Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, the venue of the Nigeria Super Eagles versus Sierra Leone in the African Nations Cup qualifier slated for today has been locked up.

Huge number of security men, we gathered, who have resumed duty at 7am, using their vehicle to block the main entrance into Package A where the stadium is situated.

Following the encroachment of pitch by fans after Nigeria versus Ghana in the World Cup qualifier match on March 29, 2022, today's match was scheduled to be played behind closed doors.

Many staff of the Ministry whose office (including NFF staff) are in the stadium had to go round and find their way through Area 1 before gaining acces into Package B from where they can find their way into their offices.

No doubt, journalists who are allowed to cover the match will have issues gaining entrance into the Stadium. The security men have been at all the entrance leading into the stadium directing people to use other alternative means of gaining entrance.
