Nigeria's Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman said that going to the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday is a special moment for him, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After a blistering season with Atalanta last season, the Nigerian International was nominated for the Ballon d'Or.

His hat trick in the Europa League final gave the Italian side their first-ever European silverware.

The award is slated for Monday and Lookman is expected to grace the occasion.

“It’s a massive moment for the club and also for me. A special, special moment. We made history last year, thanks to everyone, we continue to work hard and keep going", he said.
