Barau FC Gets Cash Motivation Ahead Of NNL Super 8 Playoffs

Ahead of the 2025 Nigeria National League, NNL, Super Eight Playoffs, Barau FC has received cash motivation from its founder, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau I. Jibrin made the pledge when he paid a visit to the training ground of Barau Football Club on Monday, 

In a statement issued by the club's Media Officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau commended Barau FC for qualifying for the NNL Super Eight Playoffs.

Barau assured continued support for Barau FC until the club secures promotion to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) next season.

"We are here to visit and motivate you, the young players of Barau FC. My vision is to see this club among the top teams in Nigeria and eventually in the world. By the grace of God, I will support you in every possible way to gain promotion to the NPFL," he said.

The management of Barau FC warmly received the Deputy Senate President, led by the Club Chairman, Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, Board Member, Alhaji Abdul AP, Sporting Director, Yahya Muhammad, Club Secretary, Umar Lawan, and Curator, Aliyu Lawan.

Also present during the visit were Technical Adviser, Rabi’u Tata; Chief Coach, Madu Muhammad, Assistant Coach, Surajo Mukhtar, Goalkeeper Trainer, Babangida Muhammad.

Speaking on behalf of the players, Usman Maidubji expressed heartfelt appreciation to Senator Barau Jibrin for his unwavering support, describing it as a crucial factor in the club's progress and success.
