Barrister Edeh Beats Former Super Eagles Coach To Emerge Chairman Benue FA

Barrister Paul Edeh has been elected as the new Chairman of the Benue State Football Association (BEFA) in its Elective Congress held on Saturday in Makurdi, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The distinguished legal luminary who promised to lead the Benue State association with honesty and absolute inclusivity, won the election in a landslide after he garnered 28 votes out of the total 29 votes cast, dusting his closest challenger, former Super Eagles and Enyimba Coach Godwin Uwa who got only one vote.

Barrister Edeh, the founder of ambitious women's sides Naija Ratel FC and Honey Badger FC will be replacing Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen who has served for three terms before being elected as an Executive Board Member in the Shehu Gusau-led board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
