Basketball League: Match Officials Go On Strike In Asaba

The update coming from the Asaba Centre of the Basketball League is not palatable as the final round of games faces delay, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Teams, including Rivers Hoopers, Lagos Legends, Delta Force, Raptors and Police Batons have been slugging out for the sole ticket in the group.

The games dunked off earlier in the week and the final games have been slated to take place on Friday morning.

But it was never meant to be as the update coming from the venue indicated that the match officials had gone on strike over non-payment of their feeding, accommodation and match allowances

Defending champions Rivers Hoopers are currently leading the group after 4 games.
