By Gbenga Gboyega

Head coach of Bayelsa Queens FC - Domo Okara, has rated the Women's football in Nigeria very high following the round of events at the NWFL Super Six Championship.

BSNSports.com.ng gathered thoughts from Domo Okara after his side gained a slim victory over Rivers Angels through Glory Edet's 3rd-minute goal early into the tie.

In his post-match reactions he alluded that the teams participating in the Super Six playoffs are all previous winners of the League, therefore improving the quality of opponents faced.

"Nigerian Women's football standard is very high, every team that came to the Super Six are previous champions.

"As you can see it was just that lone goal, and it was a 50-50 game.

"But I'll give Rivers Angels their kudos as well, however, I'm happy my team won."

Domo also hinted at one of the edges Bayelsa Queens gained over Rivers Angels in the game and previously on head-to-head.

"We have won them twice before, this is the third time. In terms of mind games, we are at an advantage."

The win takes Bayelsa Queens to the top spot as Rivers drop to second place going into Matchday 3.
