Bayelsa Queens Keep Title Defence Alive With Win Over FC Robo

Bayelsa Queens got their first three points of the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six playoffs, with a slim victory over Robo Queens at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Bayelsa, otherwise known as the Prosperity Ladies earned a one-nil victory to keep their title defense alive while ending the campaign for Robo Queens who have lost consecutive games including their first encounter against Rivers Angels. 

Sabastine Flourish got the only goal of the game for Bayelsa in the 57th minute, as their opponents, the Lagos Land Ladies, still looking for their first goal and point in the playoff series.

The win takes Bayelsa Queens equal on points with Rivers Angels in Group A pending the second-round games.
