Bayelsa Queens Win CAF Women's Champions League Fair Play Award

African soccer ruling body has released the list of the individual for the just concluded 2022 CAF Women's Champions League in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

AS FAR of Morocco on Sunday dethroned Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa as the new champion winning 4-0 in the final match played in Rabat.

Expectedly, AS FAR dominated the individual award but Nigeria's Bayelsa Queens was handed a Fair Play award.

Moroccan midfielder, Tagnaout was voted the CAF Women's Champions League Best Player of the Tournament and Ibitssam Jraidi won the golden boot award with 6 goals.

The list was compiled by CAF Technical Study Group (TSG) composed of Clementine Toure (Cote d’Ivoire head coach), Meskerem Tadesse Goshime (Head of CAF Women's Football Development), Jacqui Shipanga (Namibia Technical Director), and Lamia Boumehdi (Former Morocco international).
