Bayer Leverkusen Legend Urges Nigerians To Be Patient With Boniface

Bayer Leverkusen star midfielder Granit Xhaka has urged Nigerians to be patient with striker Victor Boniface, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Boniface is still searching for his first goal for the Super Eagles after having 11 caps. But former Arsenal made it clear that playing and adapting with the national team is not a day job.

“It’s always difficult with national team because with the national team you don’t have a lot of time to adapt.

“You don’t have time to work on tactical stuff; you don’t have everyday with the same coach and players.

" Stay calm because he is a great guy and great footballer, he will give a lot to Nigeria to make people happy for sure", Oma Sports TV.

Boniface is presently out injured but is expected to be back for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in March 2025.
