Bayer Leverkusen Lists Boniface For Europa League Season

Following his scintillating performance this season, German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen has listed Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface for its UEFA Europa League campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International broke into the limelight last season with his exploits with the Belgian Jupiler League side Union St Gillaloise in the Europa League.

His performance drew the attention of the top European sides but it was Leverkusen that secured his services after scoring against them in the same Europa League.

Boniface joined the German side this summer and he has scored 4 goals and has 2 assists so far this season.

The club on Wednesday morning released the list of players listed for the competition this year and Boniface's name was among the players.
