German giants Bayern Munich are weighing up a move for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as a potential long-term successor to Harry Kane, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Bavarian club are understood to be planning ahead in their attacking department, with Osimhen emerging as a strong candidate to eventually lead the line at the Allianz Arena.

Head coach Vincent Kompany is said to be a huge admirer of the Super Eagles forward and views him as a long-term solution capable of spearheading Bayern’s attack.

Osimhen, who has consistently impressed in Europe with his pace, aerial ability and clinical finishing, remains one of the most sought-after strikers on the continent.

His physical presence and relentless pressing style are believed to align well with Bayern’s attacking philosophy.

While Kane remains the club’s first-choice striker, Bayern’s hierarchy are reportedly assessing future options as part of their squad evolution strategy, with Osimhen high on the shortlist.

No formal bid has been submitted at this stage, but discussions internally are said to be ongoing as the Bundesliga champions map out their long-term transfer plans.
