Beach AFCON: Sand Eagles Battle Host, Two Others In Group A

Just as reported, the African soccer governing body has conducted the draw for the 2022 Beach African Cup of Nations slated to hold in Mozambique, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Sand Eagles returned to the international scene after their self-imposed exile and they are placed in a tough group.

Eight teams qualified for the tournament and they are placed in two groups of four teams for the annual competition.

According to the draw released on Friday, Nigeria's Sand was placed in group A alongside Morocco, Malawi and host Mozambique.

Group B consist of Madagascar, Egypt, Uganda and defending champions Senegal.

The competition is scheduled to hold from the 21st to 28th of October at the famous Vilankulo beach in Mozambique.
