Beach AFCON: Sand Eagles Know Foes On Friday

After being out of action for quite some time, Nigeria's Sand Eagles are set to be back in action as they were listed among the countries to be drawn for the qualifiers of the Beach African Cup of Nations, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.


African soccer ruling body, CAF has announced Friday 24th of June as the draw date for the 2022 competition slated to hold in Mozambique.


"The draw for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2022 will be conducted on Friday, 24 June 2022 in Maputo, Mozambique.


"Title holders Senegal, who hosted the 2021 edition in Saly Portudal, are amongst the 14 teams engaged in this qualifying phase."


Engaged Teams: Cameroon, Comoros, Cote D’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda," the statements read


The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Mozambique 2022 will be held from 21 to 30 October 2022.


The seven qualified teams will join 2021 runners-up Mozambique who qualify automatically as hosts.
