Belgian Cup: Arokodare Scores 13th Goal Of The Season in Genk’s Defeat

It was a bittersweet night for Nigerian forward Tolulope Arokodare on Wednesday during the Belgian Cup clash between RKC Genk and Club Brugge, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 24-year-old has been a standout performer in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season, netting 12 goals and ranking among the league's top scorers.

 In the Belgian Cup, Genk hosted rivals Brugge, but the visitors controlled much of the match, taking a 2-0 lead.

Arokodare pulled one back for Genk in the 75th minute, but it wasn’t enough, as the match ended 2-1 in favour of Brugge.

Arokodare’s goal marked his 13th of the season, and he has also contributed 4 assists in 21 appearances for Genk.
