Belgium Jupiler League: Dessers Fires Brace As Genk Back To Winning Ways

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker, Cyril Dessers, was the hero on Sunday in the Belgium Jupiler League as RKC Genk bounced back to winning ways, BSNsports.com.ng report.

The Nigeria forward was on target last weekend in Genk's 1-3 loss to Club Brugge in the matchday one of the league.

The Limburger host Standard Liege on Sunday afternoon and it was Dessers that broke the deadlock in the 5th minute of the game.

Tresor Ndashimiye made it 2-0 for the host in the 16th minute before Dennis Dragus halved the deficit in the 21st minute.

Dessers sealed the game with the third goal in the 29th minute to ensure a maximum point for Genk.

Dessers who has a splendid season in the Dutch Eredivisie with Feyenoord last season has now scored 3 goals in the last two matches for Genk.
