Former Super Eagles striker, Benedict Akwuegbu has been awarded a two thousand pounds (£2,000) scholarship at the. ARU University in London, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Akwuegbu recently bagged a bachelor's degree (Hons) from Angel Ruskin University London.

The former Nigeria international has continued to make giant strides having received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, among others.

Recall that four top universities were seeking to offer admission to the former Super Eagles striker for a Master's degree programme in Mental Health Nursing.
