Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin, on Saturday put up a classy display again in the ongoing Edo FA Cup they scored three unreplied goals to dump out hard fighting Yak FC from the 2023 Edo FA Federation cup competition.

Micah Ojodomo, Meyinwa Oritsewehinmi and Adodo Stephens were on target for the Benin Arsenals at the Western Boys College Mini stadium in the 3-0 thrashing of Yak FC to qualify for the Semifinals stage of the football competition.

Coach Monday Odigie has settled for the use of his second string team in prosecuting the 2023 Edo FA cup so far and still getting the desired results. The likes of Meyiwa, Adodo, Benard Ovoke, Nathaniel Asibe, Daniel Johnston, Peter Ambrose and others who have not had enough playing time have been given the opportunity to work for their club.

The Benin Arsenals will be facing a familiar and a more tactical side Eagle Wings FC on Monday in the first Semifinals match at the Western Boys College Mini stadium at 9:00 AM.
