Benin Republic To Introduce VAR, Announces Date For Test Run

The organizer of the Benin Republic premier has concluded plans to have the famous Video Assistant Referee ( VAR) in its league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the update from the country, they have decided to have a test run of the equipment.

They announced match day 7 of the league as the period when the equipment will be put into use, and the date of the match day fell on the 7th to 10th of November, 2024.

Apart from North African countries, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, etc, are the other countries that have introduced their equipment into their leagues.
