Benjamin Fredrick Makes Comeback Following Nine Months on the Sidelines

 Nigerian defender Benjamin Fredrick has returned to training after spending approximately nine months on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The centre-back suffered the injury during Nigeria's FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign against DR Congo, ruling him out of action for an extended period.

Images circulating on social media over the weekend showed the defender back on the training pitch, signalling a significant milestone in his recovery. Fredrick currently plays as a centre-back for Premier League side Brentford and has also represented the Nigeria national team.
